In Marvel's 2011 film, Thor, we learn about Loki. We learn that he was taken from the Frost Giants of Jotunheim as a baby by Odin, King of Asgard, and adopted as his second son. Unbeknownst to Loki, he isn't actually Asgardian. Odin falls
into the deep "Odinsleep" to recover his strength. After he finds out who he really is, he creates a plan to proving himself worthy to his adoptive father. Thor arrives and fights Loki before destroying the Bifröst Bridge, the
means of traveling between worlds, to stop Loki's plan, stranding himself in Asgard. Odin awakens and prevents the brothers from falling into the abyss created in the wake of the bridge's destruction, but Loki apparently "commits
suicide" by allowing himself to fall when Odin rejects his pleas for approval.

Asgard. In the fight, Frigga, Thor and Loki's mother, is killed protecting Foster. Thor reluctantly enlists the help of Loki and in return, Thor promises Loki vengeance on Malekith for killing their mother. Loki tricks Malekith

their father of his sacrifice. Thor returns to Asgard, where he declines Odin's offer to take the throne and tells Odin of Loki's sacrifice. As he leaves, Odin's form transforms into Loki, who is alive and impersonating Odin.

the two as they attempt to flee through the Bifrost Bridge, forcing them out into space, but they fall out mid-travel and crash on Sakaar, a garbage planet surrounded by wormholes. A slave trader designated Scrapper 142 subdues him with
an obedience disk and sells him as a gladiator to Sakaar's ruler, the Grandmaster, with whom Loki has already ingratiated himself. Thor is forced to compete in the Grandmaster's Contest of Champions, facing his old friend Hulk. Thor attempts

hands of Hela. Deciding to help Thor, she takes Loki captive. Unwilling to be left behind, Loki provides the group with the means to steal one of the Grandmaster's ships. Loki again attempts to betray his brother, but Thor anticipates
this and leaves him behind. Thor, Banner, and 142 escape through a wormhole to Asgard, where Hela's forces are attacking the remaining Asgardians. Loki and the other gladiators arrive to rescue the citizens. Thor, facing Hela,

Avengers: Infinity War
In Marvel's 2018 film, Avengers: Infinity War, Loki does some really silly stuff. And things happens to him that I still haven't gotten over and it has been 8 months.
