"If I can't have it, neither can you"
It may be difficult to instantly know if someone has the crab mentality. However, it's easy to spot a crab by the way
they live and treat others. All you have to do is look closely. Here are five ways to tell if someone has crab mentality:
1. They will never admit that they have
the crab mentality.
They are too proud to recognize that the
problem is with them, not
others.
2. They think too highly of themselves and treat
others as inferior beings.
When they achieve
something , whether big or
small, they brag about it to everyone. They only
see the good things in themselves, but only see
the failure of others.
3. They panic when they see that people
around them are successful and they
aren't.
They
feel insecure when they see others
progressing and surpassing them. That’s
when they'll do anything to spoil
celebrations
over others' success.

4. They aren't compassionate and blame
you for your failures.
It's hard to deal with difficult situations
when you're experiencing
failure. It's
even harder when people with crab
mentality blame you for not succeeded
as you had hoped. Instead of helping
build you back
up, they break you down
even more.
4. They spend more time talking bad
about people because they see them as
competitors.
Instead of thinking about solutions that
benefit society, they spend most of their
time ensuring that nobody else can
become better than them.
