Subject: ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Goal: Develop a new logo and visual identity
"St.Jude is a leading children's hospital pioneering research and treatments
for kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The mission of St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention,
for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent
with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based
on race, religion or a family's ability to pay."
This is a simple and beautiful logo that suitable for children hospital. The heart represents love and hope.
I developed the logo using one of my favorite typeface, frutiger. It is a sans serif typeface that's clear and
legible at a distance. It is perfect for scale big as environmental design and scale small as a business card.
Subject: Motion and movement
Goal: Design and produce a 20 page book depicting motion
This is book depicting motions of the sea creatures using typography. The textures and lines
are made of letters of their name. The selection of typeface, type size, type style is
purposely chosen to define its unique features. The composition of variety profiles creates
the visual motions. Every sea creature has its little secret and practice. Welcome to the marine life!
